I'll describe about customer service based on my experience. I realized that Canada is a more developed country than Korea with regards to customer service.
The first time that I bought clothes in Canada, I wondered about what to do if I wasn't satisfied with my clothes. It's possible to exchange one of another. Is it possible to refund in money in Canada? Korea also have the same policy for customers, but most of stores don't want to give a refund. I didn't know that customer protection policy. I never complained about problems when I had some problems in Korea.
In contrast to Korea, I don't have any complain about customer service in Toronto. Because, when I had some complaint , I talked about my situations in store, immediately.
I went to Pacific Mall a month ago. Have you ever goon to that place? I think that this place is the cheapest place in Toronto. Generally, foreigners don't know about this place because it takes a long time to get their. For me, I went wtih my friend in her boyfriend's car. I found a digital camera in that place. Before I bought digital camera, I didn't know which store had the best price. Finally I found the right store.
That store's price was great for me but staff was little bit rude to me. I thought that they might have ignored Koreans. It was the first time buying electronic merchandise by myself. So I wondered about how can I accept to guarantee after buy the camera.
They explained their customer policy to me. "If camera have some problems, we'll exchange the other camera for free. You have to keep your receipt and you must remembered that thedeadline is only 10 days the date of purchase." After I heared customer service policy, I paied price through the visa card. When they saw my card, they said to me that"If any part of the product proves to be defective, within two years of the date of purchase or receipt, it will be repaired free of charge."
When we saw the costomer service's hostory, we can realized that It was improved. Some people choise the goods after see the customer service policy. Because good customer service is guaranteed high guality of products. If you see the sam-sung , sony's goods, you'll recongized that why I say that sentence.But, In my opinion, having a receipt or kind of warranty card is more important than costomer service. So, I still keep having my receipt and store's name card.
I still used my camera, without any problem so far. I'm satisfied my camera.
