Return Policy of Banana Republic

Return Policy of Banana Republic

I'm going to talk about the return policy of "Banana Republic". Have you ever heard about this brand? In my country this brand is unusual, so I didn't know about this brand. Anyway, I have a friend who works at "Banana Republic", so I could easily do my research. He had to work that is why I didn't have a enough time to spend with him, so I wascrefered to the "Banana Republic" website.

"Banana Republic" accepts returns of unworn and unwashed merchandise within 90 days of purchase, so if you want to refund or exchange, you shouldn't wear and wash. However, I wondered something that many people try on cloths which are displayed in the shop. I thought they were already worn clothes, but he said it's just tried on, so they normally don't care about that.

If you want to refund and exchange, you need an original receipt. If you don't have the receipt, don't worry. When you bring cloths to the store, a clerk will ask your name and phone number. I didn't know why they asked my name and phone number. It is a back up for your missing of the receipt. If you don't, you have to bring your photo ID.

When I researched the return policy, I wondered certain problems. It was just what happens when a customer changes their mind, they could sell the clothes to another customer, unless the clothes were damaged. How will they deal with the damaged ones? He said if the damage is large, it will be scraped, but if it is small, it will be sold at a reduced price.Depending on the degree of damage, the average discounted price is 20%.

In my country, there are similar return policy, but it is hard to refund or exchange more than Canada because they mind!!I think they need to think about customer more than now.
