Beethoven by Junha

I am going to talk about my favorite composer whose name is Ludwig van Beethoven.
Ludwig van Beethoven was born in Bonn that was little city in Germany on December 17th 1770. His father worked at the court of Bonn for a musician. When Beethoven was an early age, he took an interest in music and had a great talent which made his father taught him enthusiastically because he wanted to display his son's talent.
In 1778, Beethoven who was 7 years old held his first piano concert. His father thought teaching talents of him were limited, so he recommended new teacher to Beethoven. His name was Gottlob Neefe. He recognised the how extraordinarily talented Beethoven was.
Beetoven published his first work when he was 12 years old. Neefe praised abuot this one and said "If he continues like this he will be, without doubt, the new Mozart". At last, Beethoven met Mozart in 1787 in Vienna, but the moment he met Mozart, he got a message that his mother was dying, so he had to go back in Bonn. Although meeting was short, he learned manything.
In 1792, Beethoven went back to Vienna. After he went to Vienna, he took lessons with Haydn, Albrechtsberger and Salieri, and he got many skills and knowledge.
He became a professional pianist in 1795. He was great and popular, but he got an ear trouble. He gave up being a pianist, and he concentrated a composition in 1802. For 10 years after he composed a Symphony No.3 Eroica, he composed many popular works like Symphony No.5, Symphony No.6 Pastoral, Piano Concerto No.5 Emperor, etc,...
However his ear trouble became serious and he became deaf. His old age was unhappy. Although he died lonely, his works were great. Many people have been impressed by his work, and although he was deaf, he conquered his disease that is another reason that people respect him.
One year ago, I was a conductor of Korean university classic guitar association, and I conducted Beethoven Symphony No.6 Pastoral with my ensemble. That is why my favorite composer is Ludwig van Beethoven.
