Carlos Rivas Soccer School by Pedro Facchini

In fact, I did my job on the Internet because I wanted to do my journal about a soccer school. I couldn’t find any, because I think they are all closed during the winter. I searched about soccer lessons because I would love to play soccer in here but at least in this place that I found that is called Carlos Rivas Soccer School they don’t have classes during the winter so I’ll have to wait for the spring.
Carlos Rivas is from Chile. He played for the Chile soccer team in the 1982 World Cup and now he is here in Toronto teaching soccer to young guys and also to the girls.
The school is on 7601 Martingrove Rd. He has some particular ways to teach the young players, for example, they do a hard physical exercise, forward dribbling, shooting and heading. He is always trying to improve their player’s skills. Camilo Benzi that was Chile’s goalkeeper is also teaching there but he teaches young guys who wants to be goalkeepers, he has a particularly way to teach these guys, with other kind of exercises like ball handling, shot stopping techniques and he also teach positional play.
During the summer they have a summer camp where the young boys and the girls go to play soccer all day long, to the older boys and girls they have international tournaments such as in Mexico, Sweden and Chile.
