Karl - FIDO(In the celluar phone store)
Actually I brought my celluar phone which I bought in Philippines while I stayed. But when I wanted to use, I found a problem about battery. So I just wanted to exchange the battery but lots of friends told me " If you want to buy only battery, it is possible but that is more expensive than to buy new one". So I decided to buy new one and I tried to find information about celluar phone company & store.
On saturday afternoon, after I finished the activity program and prepared some questions about customer service, I visited celluar phone shop in Eaton center near the dundas subway station.
After I looked around all kind of celluar phone , I choose one which had a discount package.
Package content is "If I contact company for three years, phone is free" So I choose that one and asked some questions to seller. My first question is " After three months I am going to Vancouver. So can I use this celluar phone evenif I change the area?" Seller answerd "Of course you can. You just change the adress and your number. That's all." My second question is " If I want to repair this phone where I can ? " and "How long do you guarantee to free repair?" she answerd " We will guarantee for one year and you will have after-service in our shop. Because we also have repair place. But you have to keep your receipt for one yaer." My third question is " If I want to discontinue relative with this company before package program fisish what kind of
purnishment do I have?" she answerd " In that case, you have to pay $50 per month but maxium is $200" My fourth question is " Can I use this phone in other country? For example, Phillippine or America..." Seller answerd " In the Philippines, If you change the SIM card you can use and you can use this phone in America but price is more expensive. My last question is "If I want to make my own number what kind of document I need?" Seller said " Just passport, your creditcard and adress".
So finally, I made my own number.
