My Turning Points
If someone asked me when your turning points were, I would have answered every day is a turning point for me. I learned knowledge and social norms all through my life. Sometimes I made mistakes, saw the error of my ways and corrected the errors of my past. Everything that I experienced made of me. Then, I wasn’t able to choose the one of my turning points with easy.
Above all, I got on the brink of death when I was three-year-old. While my father was watching the baseball game that was important as the world series in MLB, I was eating watermelon by myself. Thus, my father concentrated his attention on it so that he wasn’t able to take care of me. The moment, he thought it was weird he wasn’t able to hear the sound that I eat. Checking my state, he got surprised that my face was turned pale. I ate the skin and all watermelon so that I couldn’t swallow that. Just then, my father carried me on his back and ran to the hospital.
Fortunately, a grandmother who was just passing near my house took off the skin of watermelon by using her hand. Actually, I wasn’t able to remember that accident. However, it’s obvious I might have died if I didn’t meet that grandmother.
The significant accident that made me change my personality was occurred to me as soon as I got into the middle school. At the time, I was really shy and bashful in front of strangers. I wasn’t able to talk with my classmates during the class. It’s true even if you don’t believe that. Then, I ate my lunch alone for one month. One day, when I tried to begin to talk with one of my classmates, I felt she was surprised. She thought I might be an delinquent student. Whenever someone asked me, I usually saw them not by moving my neck but by rolling my eyes. Can you imagine it? I couldn’t deny the fact I made them scared. Since then, I was always smiling even if I didn’t want that.
Next, I realized my instinct that was hided in my subconscious. When I was in high school, I met a friend of mine who enjoyed having a dance. She taught me everything she knew how to dance whenever we had a rest time. While I was learning the dance, I felt I was set free and no matter what to do. Before then, I had been concerned about my score for an exam. I was such a normal student, who was quiet, shy and naïve unlike now. If I hadn’t known the world of dance, I would have gotten bored in the whole life. For that reason, I can enjoy the life of Toronto. I really appreciate it.
The last, I truly changed my life due to meeting with the music. By the time I was a freshman in university, I had an opportunity to see the concert, which was a kind of rock. Until now, I’m not able to describe how I felt about the music at that time. Since then, I comforted myself by playing the musical instrument as I got mad owing to other people. I wish I would be a famous musician who can also dance well though it’s impossible to attain it.
Like this, I grew up to be mature as time goes by. I expect how many I will reach turning points and how I’ll change the inside.
