horrible experience

I had a really horrible experience in my hometown.
A couple of years ago, one of my best friends and I went to a restaurant which is quite famous for good service and nice taste so as to treat her.
Of course I had made a reservation before I went there. when I got there, I was flabbergasted because of thier service. The waiter was so rude, glasses on the table were quite dirty.
It wasn't all. The tablecloth was stained as well.
I know, the restaurant has been quite busy because of their fame. But, they shouldn't.
I couldn't help complaining to manager's face. the manager apologized to us and then everything was on the house. but I couldn't help being disappointed at the restaurant.
